Potential for a global dynamic of Influenza A (H1N1) -- (BMC Infectious Diseases 2009)

 

The spread of H1N1 influenza virus may follow a two-wave dynamic pattern in the Southern hemisphere; mass vaccination implemented six months after the pandemic's start could reduce up to 91% of cases occurring in a second wave.
